As an Influencer, I feel it is my job as well as my interest to learn more about lifestyle and daily life tricks to share my experiences with my readers and followers.

I have always been intrigued about Ayurveda, and interested in knowing natural substitutes to sustain a healthy mind and body. My search and desire to learn more about this tradition had somewhat remained futile until I found a solution, as well as an opportunity when I came across Jiva Ayurveda, a perfect Ayurvedic Treatment provider. What cemented my desire to learn more from them about Ayurveda, was their approach towards incorporating Ayurveda and making it a part of daily life.

The Jiva Medical & Research Centre, established in 1998, was among the most innovative ideas of the time, it started as an integrated center for a telephonic health consultation. The motto of this institution is ‘taking Ayurveda to every home’. Founded on this principle, Jiva Ayurveda aims to improve the lifestyle of the general population and build immunity against chronic as well as recurring ailments.

The main objective of Jiva Ayurveda, as I learned is to deliver 100% traditional and ayurvedic solutions to ailments and disorders to every doorstep. Boasting of over 400 Ayurvedic doctors and support professionals, Jiva Ayurveda has provided consultations and answers to the ailments and difficulties of more than one million patients, spanning 1800 cities and towns across India.

Jiva Ayurveda’s main center is located at Faridabad, India, where to ensure purity and authenticity, Jiva manufactures its own medicines and Ayurvedic Products, along with offering residential facilities for patients who wish to remain put for their treatment. Additionally, outpatient services are provided through the clinics located all across Northern India. I was fortunate enough to experience all of this first hand when I got the opportunity to visit their main center.

Jiva Ayurveda also has its Ayurvedic Clinics located in various cities in India.

A day at Jiva Ayurveda is the most culturally binding thing you can experience. The welcome process itself had me floored- tilak and phoolonkimaala i.e. a flower garland. This simple gesture was a refreshing change from customary greetings we are accustomed to. What followed was an enlightening session by Dr. Pratap Chauhan, highlighting the meaning of Ayurveda and his ideas of incorporating it into the fast-paced city life.

Dr. Partap Chauhan, currently serving as the Director of Jiva Ayurveda, is an author, public speaker, TV personality and master Ayurvedic physician. A dynamic and humble man, he heads all Jiva’s medical and pharmaceutical activities. Internationally and nationally acclaimed for his efforts, Jiva Ayurveda is in fact, Dr. Chauhan’s brainchild to work towards incorporating Ayurveda in the daily life of people and promote a more refined and satisfactory lifestyle.

His vision and his belief were very moving and created an impression on me. Ever eager to learn, I was in awe of their objective and their ideals. Dr. Chauhan believes in working according to the body’s requirements rather than setting rules for the body. It seemed like a very logical and reasoned claim to increase body vitality. The main idea behind Jiva Ayurveda is spreading the roots of Ayurveda and propelling the belief that instead of superficial treatment, one should work towards eradicating the root cause of the problem, which can be found in Ayurvedic methods and processes.

The main emphasis was to establish Ayurveda as a way of life. It is a belief system that helps individuals live a balanced and maintained life. Ayurveda, during my visit it became immensely clear, is a process of healing and a step by step procedure to achieve a healthy lifestyle and a sound mind, which comes with the fitness. One may look at Ayurveda as a practice of ancients or a set of traditional methods to cure ailments, but on closer inspection, the logic behind the process and the methods of Ayurveda are unquestionable.

Followed by this session was the idea of the Jivagram, which remained the most interesting part of my visit to Jiva Ayurveda. Jivagram, I was told, is the dream project of the four founders of Jiva Ayurveda. The idea is of the construction of a futuristic village, armed with environmental-friendly architecture that will incorporate Jiva University- the hub of modern scholars channeling and implementing wisdom from ancient Indian texts. Apart from the academic institutions, it aims to include a wellness center and a recreational cultural hub-all under one roof. I was most decidedly impressed and excited about seeing this plan in action.

My visit to Jiva Ayurveda ended with a sumptuous lunch and a bag of goodies, which consisted of their Ayurvedic products. The experience, in all, was a pleasant change, and refreshing in its ideas of building a healthy lifestyle and practicing Ayurveda to regulate control over the state of mind as well as body. I would rate this experience as a success in exploring new possibilities and including a change for good in daily life.

And I’ll come back soon with more details on the Jiva Gram.

Till then, stay tuned!

Love,
Priyanka
