You cannot imagine the level of my excitement while trying this gorgeous piece by Masaba Gupta. This is the first designer outfit that is getting featured on my blog. All thanks to Flyrobe for letting me have the experience to write and share it with all of you.
If you’ve read my previous posts, you must be aware of what Flyrobe is all about. It’s the solution to our problem of never repeating the clothes again. We can rent them according to the occasion and bid them goodbye without burning a hole in our pocket. 😉
“House of Masaba” is a very recent addition to their vast collection, which is solely the reason for my happiness. Masaba Gupta is one woman I simply adore. Her work has made her a remarkable personality in the industry of fashion. Flashback to the days when I started following this lady on Instagram, I so wanted to try her collection of quirky prints and unique designs (for what she is known for!).
I wanted a perfect location while shooting for this dress. So we went on a location hunt in Dwarka, and to our surprise, we found the location in one go which complimented my idea of the whole raw theme. This was a mini-jungle where I literally felt that a snake would come crawling out of nowhere and bite me. Nevertheless, that did not happen and I live to see the next day. It’s an unexplainable feeling when you work for something and it turns out just the way you imagined it to be. This is the white dress which has cameras printed all over and has frills at the bottom. The color gives a very soothing impression in summers and the print is so chic and funky, that I can wear it anywhere I want. It has full sleeves which could be a reason for a few of you to try it in summers to save yourself from getting tanned.
I have made this look by using only pinks and nudes. With it, I have applied a white liner on my lower eyelids so that it contrasts well and gives the whole look an edgy finish. The half messy bun is currently my favorite which is also in trend this summer I love the fact how the look completely changes and comes out perfect by using the right accessories. I have put on my beaded necklace as a headband and my white bracelet as an anklet here which has beautiful white and golden detailing.
Scroll down for the pictures and let me know if you like the boho touch in this outfit so I can bring you another post with a little more about bohemian fashion.
