Hey, guys!
I hope you all are doing great. I have been pretty busy and engrossed in work recently, which gives me a feeling of satisfaction. Lately, I have started shooting early in the morning and realized that’s the most convenient time for it. There’s less traffic on the roads, comparatively fewer glaring eyeballs, and most important of all, natural light is at its best. If you’re following me on Snapchat (User ID – thefabricfad), you might already know that I do not usually sleep at night, which I am not proud of! Anyway, I am not really complaining as that’s the most productive time of my day.
This usually happens when I start watching a new TV series, and it was Game of Thrones this time. I get crazy while watching them and hardly sleep for days unless I finish all the episodes that are available to me. I can’t imagine I have to wait one more year to watch the next season. I think that was a blessing in disguise as I was able to concentrate more on working for my blog.
For this shoot (which co-incidentally happened after I finished my GOT seasons), we went all the way to Hauz Khas Fort which looked beautiful and was completely worth driving our way there. I have taken my skirt (last seen here) and wore it as an off-shoulder dress while adding a belt to my waist. Without the belt, it would look like a curtain hanging on a wall. The skirt is beautiful with a lot of mixed colors in it, which is why it is not advisable to pair it with another colored jacket. Rather, I chose a sequined jacket from Sarojini Nagar which was bought almost two years back. It is a copied version of Vero Moda Collection by Karan Johar, and I was delighted and shocked at the same time to see something so similar at such an affordable price.
I haven’t used any accessory other than a statement earring so it doesn’t take the charm away from the outfit. There’s no such thing as too much bling, considering the fact that I have chosen to wear silver blingy stilettoes with this outfit. I must say, choosing a red color pouch with this outfit isn’t the best choice I’ve made. What can I say, sometimes accepting your flaws are the best way to get over with them. 😉
I really hope you’re noticing my hairstyles which I have been trying out myself. Well even if you aren’t, you can see I won’t let it go unnoticed. Haha! Any compliments on them are welcome in the comments section below.
Have a look at the pictures. 😉
