Indian wedding season, in my opinion, should be declared a season on its own. I mean, the clothes, the preparations and all the effort we put in getting ready, is like achieving a milestone.

I am one of those people, who believe in organization, therefore, I plan and create a look in my mind for a particular function and assemble all the required pieces according to that plan.

The problem started, when my relative’s wedding was approaching, and I had nearly no look in mind. You know how Indian Weddings are! We have almost three to five functions and selecting outfits for each function is such a pain. The worst mistake you can do is wearing something off the rack and have it not fit you or flatter your body type. Being a fashion influencer, the first step is always to experiment and create looks that are wearable and flattering.

Although we have this magical thing called “Internet” these days which almost has a solution to every problem.… I accidentally stumbled on the brand called Ethnic Factory and it felt like custom-made for me. The website is a delight to look and browse through.

There are various categories of suit pieces, sarees, lehengas, even tunics. For accessories to go with your outfit, you can find a jewelry section as well. What I love about the website is- the user-friendly build, division into categories as well as the wide-range of products. I was very pleased to note the super affordable price range as well. There were several different categories to look through, each divided extensively on the basis of style, price-range, casual and party options, to name a few.

If you are wondering about sizes or the fit of the garment, here is the punchline- the pieces are semi-stitched. This is extremely convenient, as you get the freedom of getting your outfit fixed and fitted according to your figure and your personal preference. The Ethnic Factory store boasts of a variety unlike others, where different designers are available under one roof without any hassles. The products are fine quality and available in a wide range of styles.

My problem was solved when I came across this beautiful Anarkali suit piece. I instantly knew this is what I was going to wear for one of those never-ending lists of functions. This gorgeous piece has a shimmery grey base with golden thread detailing all over. What instantly blew my mind was the mirror work and the pearls around the Nehru collar which looked extremely elegant and appealing to me.

Let me remind you again, the piece was semi-stitched when it was delivered, and I had it fit my size specifications. And the result made me extremely happy. I was most pleasantly surprised by the quality when I received the product. From the packaging to the flow of the fabric, it was perfection.

The dupatta with this piece was simply gauzy net with a heavy border in gold. The gold and green all blend together effortlessly to give it a rich and elegant look, suitable for all skin tones. You know, when you have a certain picture in mind regarding a look and it comes out better than expectations? This outfit was something like that for me! I was extremely happy how the Anarkali stood out from the rest owing to the unique colors, the detailed yet classic design and the gorgeous flow of the dress.

As a conclusion, I would highly recommend the Ethnic Factory website for all your traditional and Indian wear shopping. The website is amazing in terms of quality, customer service and product range and variety. You can check it out here.
